Sleeping Bag!

I got fed up of trying to find a lightweight sleeping bag for Charlie and if he doesn't wear one at night he gets his legs stuck in the cot bars :o(

So....I made one! And here it is:I just used another sleeping bag as a template and used resin snaps for fastening (might try one with a zip next!)

Bunting

Well, I've finished the bunting for Charlie's new room (really anxious to get a moving date now!) and here it is:

I think it'll look better on the cream walls in his new room, but you get the idea...

Seed Beading

Now I know it's not baby-related in the slightest but I've been having a go at seed beading! I went to a craft workshop with a couple of friends and learnt all about it.

I wasn't very good to start with, in fact I had to frog it completely when I attempted my first flower but I eventually got the hang of it and here are the results:

I really enjoyed the workshop and would recommend them to anyone wanting to try a new craft!

Appliqué Cushion

I've just finished a cushion for Charlie, I'm really pleased with how it's turned out as it's my first attempt at appliqué.
It should go nicely with the bunting I'm working on...

Going Well!

Well, I guess my sister's friend really liked her nappy cake as she's just asked me to make one exactly the same but in blue for one of her friends!

Just need to buy some blue booties and I can get it finished!

I've also been working on some bunting for Charlie's new room (we're moving house soon...just waiting for a completion date!) I'll post a picture when it's finished!

New Nappy Cake

Well, here's the 'medium-sized' nappy cake that I made for my sister (well, for her friend iykwim)
I've not made this size before, it contains:

• Size 1 nappies
• Hat
• Booties
• Johnson's Baby Lotion
• Johnson's Talc
• Winne-the-Pooh Brush & Comb set
• 1 pair of scratch mitts
• Cuddly toy

I really like how this one turned out, especially the use of an oversized base (it actually looks like it's a cake on a plate!)

I'm currently working on some Bandana Bibs, so will post a picture when I'm done.

Back on Track

Well, after the disappointment of the craft fair I've been feeling a bit down about my crafts (thinking nobody likes them etc.) but I'm feeling more optimistic again!

My sister has already bought 2 nappy cakes from me (a large and a small) and wants me to make a medium-sized one this week too!

I've also found loads of new things I want to try...
